    The Honeywell Voyager 1250g single-line laser barcode scanner is one of the most cost effective scanners you can buy today.  Even though the Voyager 1250g is an entry level scanner, it has an aggressive scan engine that can read a barcode from up to 23 inches away, which is a great feature to have for heavy items that cannot be moved easily.  Some Voyager 1250g models are available with a hands free stand for presentation scanning with object detection technology.
